APAC to record fastest-growing allergy drugs market

The market is seeing a growing awareness on advanced treatment options.

Asia Pacific is expected to have the fastest growth rate in the global anti-allergic drugs market in the coming years, amidst a rising allergic patient population and rapid development of healthcare infrastructure, a report from Acumen Research and Consulting revealed.

Also contributing to the growth is a growing awareness about advanced treatment options as well as an expansion in government health care spending.

China will continue to be one of the fastest growing markets in this cluster of regional markets, led by countries such as Australia, India, and South Korea in the Asia-Pacific market.

The global anti-allergic drugs market is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 6.8% from 2020 to 2027 and reach a market value of over $39.5b by 2027. North America is expected to hold steady as the biggest anti-allergic drugs market globally, followed by Europe.

The presence of developed healthcare infrastructure, worsening environmental pollution, and rising demand for immunotherapy for treatment have accelerated the growth of anti-allergy therapeutic markets in North America and Europe.
