It will feature bedrooms with ensuites and communal areas.

Australia’s Westmead Hospital will introduce a new supportive and palliative care unit, situated within the rooftop expansion zone on Level 5 of the Clinical Acute Services Building.

The unit will feature bedrooms with ensuites, communal areas, meeting spaces, and outdoor areas with natural light.

Moreover, it will be closed to existing health services and provide patient privacy.

Meanwhile, planning and design for the new unit will continue over the next few months, with construction timelines to be confirmed after the design process and contractor appointment.
