Teledentistry company SmileDirectClub expands to Hong Kong

The company specialises in remote teeth straightening therapy.

US-grown Teledentistry company SmileDirectClub extends global reach by launching its first Asian location in Hong Kong, according to a press release. The company specialises in direct-to-consumer teeth straightening therapy, using clear aligners for treatment.

Smile Direct Club operates a med tech platform where consumers are able to avail a complete therapy schedule - from initial diagnosis to treatment conclusion - along with purchased clear aligners. Via the company’s service, progress of dental patients are monitored remotely by dentists.

The company opens two shops, each located in Sheung Wan and Tsim Sha Tsui.

SmileDirectClub’s clear aligner therapy is priced at a flat rate of $14,500.
