Sunway Healthcare and Medtronic sign MoU to advance medical care

The partnership will focus on knowledge exchange, professional development, and clinical research.

Sunway Healthcare Group and Medtronic have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to focus on advancing medical care and developing innovative solutions.

The collaboration aims to enhance the Centres of Excellence at Sunway Medical Centre, a private quaternary hospital in Malaysia, with a focus on spine, neuroscience, and cardiovascular medicine.

The partnership will also focus on knowledge exchange, professional development, and clinical research, with an emphasis on advanced robotic surgical techniques.

The MoU was signed by Chow Huat Khoo, managing director of Hospital and Healthcare Operations at Sunway Healthcare Group, and Jennifer Cho, vice president for Island Southeast Asia at Medtronic.
