Singapore unveils redeveloped Pasir Ris Polyclinic

The facility includes a centre to train doctors under the Family Medicine residency programme.

Singapore has opened the redeveloped Pasir Ris Polyclinic at Pasir Ris Mall, one of 26 polyclinics that, alongside private General Practitioner clinics, form the country’s primary healthcare system.

According to Health Minister Ong Ye Kung, the polyclinic offers services such as physiotherapy and dental care. It will also feature a centre to train doctors under the Family Medicine residency programme.

Meanwhile, the facility has integrated technological features including telemonitoring, electronic registration, and payment systems.

Teleconsultation will extend beyond traditional care areas, covering preventive care, chronic disease management, dietician services, and physiotherapy.
