Singapore General Hospital names new CEO

Associate Professor Tan Hiang Khoon will succeed Professor Kenneth Kwek in the role. 

SingHealth has announced that Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is set to appoint Associate Professor Tan Hiang Khoon as CEO (Designate), effective 1 October, before officially assuming the role on 15 January 2025.

He will succeed Professor Kenneth Kwek, who will remain Deputy Group CEO (Digital Health) at SingHealth.

Tan's new appointment will run alongside his roles as Group Director of the International Collaboration Office (ICO) and Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI).

Meanwhile, Tan will relinquish his position of Deputy CEO (Future Health System) once he officially takes on his new role.
