Singapore digital health startup Gmedes launches delivery app for routine medications

The G-MEDS app will allow same or next day delivery of medicines.

Singaporean digital health startup Gmedes launched its clinic app service, G-MEDS, announced in a press release. The app enables private and specialist doctors to electronically prescribe, bill, dispense and deliver routine medication from clinics directly to the homes of patients.

The app targets convenience issues of patients and caregivers in obtaining prescription refills within long-term medication treatments. The delivery service of the app will run from Monday to Saturday, allowing for same or next day delivery.

Via the G-MEDS app, clinics will also gain access to a broad on-demand stock of locally approved medications as well as over-the-counter drugs and supplements.

The G-MEDS app is currently available via integration with two of Singapore’s leading clinic management systems, Clinic Assist and Plato.
