Singapore-based Doctor Anywhere bags $27m Series B funding
It plans to expand its platform to more markets this year.
Singapore-based healthtech startup Doctor Anywhere has secured a $27m Series B financing round led by Australia-based Square Peg, EDBI, and IHH Healthcare, according to a press release.
The latest investment will help Doctor Anywhere prepare for an extensive expansion.
Rounding out this series of funding are Pavilion Capital and existing shareholder Kamet Capital, bringing Doctor Anywhere’s total capital base to exceed $40m.
Doctor Anywhere recently launched its platform in Thailand. It also operates in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with announcements on other regional plans in the pipeline due later this year.
Aiming to provide means to manage health easily, Doctor Anywhere allows users to consult a licensed local doctor through its digital platform, and to get medication delivered to their doorsteps. Medical history, health reports, and other documents are stored in-app.
