Shek Kip Mei Chest Clinic to suspend operations for new facility construction

Patients of SKMCC will be transferred to either Kowloon Chest Clinic or Yaumatei Chest Clinic.

Shek Kip Mei Chest Clinic (SKMCC) suspended its operations starting from 27 January 2024 until the completion of the redevelopment works at the Shek Kip Mei Community Health Centre Building.

All patients of SKMCC with appointments will be relocated to Kowloon Chest Clinic or Yaumatei Chest Clinic for follow-up. Prior, SKMCC had halted new referral cases since 1 November 2023.

During the suspension, SKMCC’s manpower will be diverted to other chest clinics to assist other fellow hospitals and meet the needs of patients.
