Seoul National University Hospital opens new lounge for cancer patients

The facility includes a centre that conducts lecture-type education and participatory programmes.

Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) has unveiled its DongHaeng Lounge for cancer patients and their families during treatment and recovery.

The 2,500-square-foot facility includes a cancer information education centre that conducts lecture-type education and participatory programmes on topics such as specific cancer types, treatment management, diet, and pain management.

The lounge is also equipped with facilities that facilitate face-to-face and remote education. Monthly lectures and workshops will be held to provide practical assistance to patients and their families.

Furthermore, the lounge features a counselling centre, an open studio, and a multimedia zone.
