Saudi Arabia launches ‘Regulatory Healthcare Sandbox’ to boost digital innovation
It aims to boost healthcare innovation by offering support in AI, 3D printing, IoT, and biotechnology.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health is inviting individuals and companies to join the "Regulatory Healthcare Sandbox," a pioneering initiative aimed at advancing digital health and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
The initiative, closely aligned with the objectives of the Seha Virtual Hospital, offers a secure environment for innovators to test and refine their ideas.
Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the Sandbox aims to boost healthcare innovation by offering support in AI, 3D printing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and biotechnology.
Participants will go through a streamlined selection process, with initial and final acceptance completed within 10 working days each. Once accepted, projects will enter a three- to six-month incubation period.
The deadline for applications to the Sandbox program is on 31 August.
