PolyU and Suzhou Kowloon Hospital to develop medical innovation platform

Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and Suzhou Kowloon Hospital, a subsidiary of the Hong Kong Kowloon Group, have signed a collaboration agreement to establish a joint innovation incubation platform aimed at advancing medical technology research.
The "Suzhou Kowloon Hospital – The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Innovation Incubation Platform" will utilise both institutions’ capabilities to facilitate the conversion of research findings into practical applications.
Key areas of collaboration include medical engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and biomedical technology.
Moreover, both parties will initiate clinical application research projects, whilst PolyU students will have access to internships, field visits, and professional exchange opportunities.
The agreement was signed by Christopher Chao, Vice President (Research and Innovation) of PolyU, and Qiang Chen, Vice President of the Hong Kong Kowloon Group.
