The company launched a video consultation service that connects users to Thai MDs.

China’s healthcare ecosystem platform, Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited announced on Monday that it has partnered with Thailand's largest healthcare group, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) to launch a cross-border video MD consultation service into the company’s mobile application, according to a press release.

Via the new service, Ping An Good Doctor users will be able to reach out and consult with top physicians in Thailand.

Chinese users can avail the feature by purchasing the service from the "Overseas Top-Tier Doctors" on Ping An Good Doctor's mobile app. After which, users will be given access to make appointments with doctors from BDMS via the video consultation function.

Thai's BDMS is the newest addition to Ping An Good Doctor's medical service network which currently connects to well-known hospitals in 10 countries, such as Singapore and Korea.

The two parties have also revealed in the press release that another partnership is on the way to launch a cross-border body examination service in the near term.
