Philippines’ private hospital group acquires Antipolo Doctors Hospital

This marks the group’s 22nd hospital in the market.

Metro Pacific Health (MPH) declared that it acquired a 94.2% investment share in Antipolo Doctors, owner and operator of Antipolo Doctors Hospital (ADH).

In a statement, MPH said its 22nd hospital, ADH, is a level 2-ready facility with over 77 beds. It is located in Antipolo, Rizal, south of the Philippines’ Luzon Island.

It has a group of 11 doctor-founders and retained a record of medical proficiency. The hospital also reaches patients in the Rizal Province such as Taytay, Teresa, and Angono, driven by a pool of over 200 doctors.

“By expanding its presence to Rizal, MPH not only brings top-tier medical services closer to the province's residents but also continues its journey of nation-building through health,” read the statement.

Following the acquisition, there are already plans ongoing for the renovation of ADH’s Emergency Room and Operating Rooms, and the introduction of a new Out-Patient Care Center. 

MPH also acquired Makati Medical Center, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Riverside Medical Center, and Davao Doctors Hospital. Its network consists of 26 outpatient care centres, two allied health colleges, and its centralized laboratory, Medi Linx Laboratory.
