Philippines’ CPH Balamban receives level two DOH accreditation

The hospital also unveiled its expanded hemodialysis centre with 15 additional machines.

The Cebu Provincial Hospital in Balamban (CPH Balamban) has received a level two accreditation status from the Philippines’ Department of Health (DOH).

In line with this, the hospital unveiled its expanded hemodialysis centre with 15 additional units, bringing its total machines to 25.

According to the DOH’s website, hospitals must be departmentalised with intensive care units, respiratory therapy services, a tertiary clinical laboratory, and a level two imaging facility with mobile X-ray equipment to achieve the status.

Meanwhile, three other CPH branches, particularly in Carcar, Danao, and Bogo are in the process of complying with the accreditation.
