Philippines breaks ground for new regional hospital in Bicol

BRHMC is set to provide specialised care in the region.

The Philippines is set to unveil the 20-storey Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Centre (BRHMC) to provide medical services in the region.

Formerly known as the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital, the upcoming integrated healthcare hub will feature speciality medical care, facilities for research and education, and regional access to financial assistance.

Meanwhile, a speciality hospital will be established at the BRHMC as a level three facility with a 360-bed capacity and centres for cardio, pulmonary, and cancer care.

Moreover, a Women's Health and Childcare Speciality Centre is slated for development to provide central medical care to pregnant patients in the region.
