Philippines’ AC Health pivots to renewable energy use

A collaboration with ACEN allows the company’s facilities to incorporate sustainable practices.

Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) has announced its switch to renewable energy use by partnering with the energy firm, ACEN.

According to AC Health CEO Paolo Borromeo, the collaboration allows the company to incorporate and promote sustainable practices across its facilities, particularly the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital and the Healthway QualiMed hospitals.

Moreover, the shift towards renewable energy will be through the Green Energy Option Programme (GEOP).

The programme, under the Renewable Energy Act, encourages the development and utilisation of green resources to prevent or reduce harmful emissions and their effects.
