ParkwayPantai's S. Ganesan to take the podium at the Healthcare Asia Forum
He will discuss Malaysia's e-health initiative.
S. Ganesan is the Head of Biomedical Engineering at ParkwayPantai (Malaysia Operation Division), whereby he manages Medical Equipment’s, service contracts, new equipment’s installation ,setting up Joint Commissions International (JCI) and MSQH requirements in ParkwayPantai group Hospitals.
He was certified by Biomedical Engineering Association of Malaysia (BEAM), Association for the Advancement of Medical Instruments (AAMI), Certified Biomedical Engineering trainer for Government and private Hospitals in Malaysia and Certified Trainer by Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).
Ganesan will be speaking at the Healthcare Asia Forum Kuala Lumpur on May 17 at the Impiana KLCC Hotel.
What are your previous experiences and positions held that contributed to who you are as an expert in the healthcare industry today?
I worked as a Head Of Biomedical Engineering Lab at Healthtronics (M) SDN. BHD ( UEM Edgenta ) and it was my stepping stone to achieve success in Biomedical Engineering and to become an expert in this industry. Taking care Government Hospitals & Clinics which was given me a lot experiences and while learning a new technology in Healthcare industries.
Can you give us a glimpse of what you will talk about at the Healthcare Asia Forum?
I will be talking about: Malaysia E-Health initiative by having the healthcare IT under government’s vision 2020 plan; Telemedicine Blueprint, a health initiative plan was launched in 1997 to innovative the country’s healthcare system; Race for Healthcare innovation in ASEAN Countries, and; where Malaysia is in Global Index Rating among other ASEAN countries
