NTUH partners with Guatemalan facility for maternal and paediatric care improvement

The hospital has been launching projects in Guatemala since 2018.

The National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Sciences of Rafael Landívar University for the improvement of the quality of maternal and pediatric care in Guatemala.

This is the first official agreement by NTUH with an institution in Guatemala.

Under the agreement, both entities will initiate discussions, exchanges and studies about medical care, research, and talent development in the region.

Since 2018, NTUH has been initiating healthcare projects in the country with the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), such as “The Project for Improving Maternal and Neonatal Health Care in Guatemala”.
