New partnerships and initiatives drive AI developments in healthcare
One key development is a collaboration between AvaSure, Oracle, and NVIDIA.
Recent industry partnerships demonstrate how AI is being adopted to streamline healthcare delivery, particularly through its integration into clinical and administrative processes, according to GlobalData.
One notable initiative is a partnership between AvaSure, Oracle, and NVIDIA, focusing on the development of an AI-driven virtual concierge system to manage staff and patient requests in real time.
Meanwhile, GlobalData Medical Analyst Elia Garcia highlighted the features of an AI assistant developed by Suki, which uses voice recognition and AI-driven dictation to simplify the completion of electronic health record entries.
"By allowing clinicians to input data using simple voice commands, the Suki Assistant eases the documentation process and frees up more time for direct patient care," the analyst said.
Furthermore, AngelEye Health is integrating AI, computer vision and machine learning into its neonatal intensive care unit cameras to monitor newborns and track early health indicators for early intervention.
“Incorporating AI into different areas of healthcare will help the industry address the rising demand for more personalised care," Garcia added.
