Mount Elizabeth Hospital completes renovation for new ward
The ward is dedicated as a high-dependency unit with 33 single-bedded rooms.
Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital (MEH) has completed renovation works for the new ward 5A dedicated as a high-dependency unit for patients with surgical stem cell and organ transplant needs.
The ward features 33 single-bedded rooms including 10 positive pressure and two negative pressure rooms.
In line with this, each room features a monitoring system, allowing MEH nurses to keep track of patients from the central station for prompt care.
Meanwhile, the hospital is set to adopt LizWorld, a new patient infotainment system which will provide real-time information including directories, in-store promotions, room amenities, and health education resources.
Furthermore, the upcoming platform will digitally transform the room orientation process for MEH patients, aiming to provide a more personalised experience.
