Midlands Multipurpose Health Centre completes stage one construction

Its new residential care wing has been completed.

The first stage of the redevelopment of Australia's Midlands Multipurpose Health Centre has been completed, with the construction of a new residential care wing now finalised.

The extension brings the total number of healthcare beds at the centre to 30, including 8 bedrooms with modern ensuites, a nurse’s station, storage and a staff tearoom.

With Stage 1 complete, the focus will shift to the project’s second stage, which involves refurbishing the Callington Wing.

Construction began in February and was completed by the end of September, with local contractor Macquarie Builders overseeing the works.
