Metro Pacific Health acquires San Francisco Doctors Hospital in Mindanao

This marks the group’s 25th hospital in its network.

Philippines’ Metro Pacific Health Corporation (MPH) has announced its acquisition of San Francisco Doctors Hospital (SFDH) in Agusan del Sur, Mindanao.

This acquisition, completed through MPH’s subsidiary Santos Clinic, Inc. (SCI), marks its sixth hospital in the region and 25th in its national network.

MPH plans to invest in SFDH’s development and management, focusing on the hospital’s capacity to meet the growing healthcare needs of the area.

Established in 2013, SFDH is a 100-bed facility located 80 kilometres from the Manuel J. Santos Hospital in Butuan, which SCI also owns. The acquisition is expected to generate operational efficiencies and synergies between the two institutions.
