The hospital has also unveiled a centre for specialised dental care.

Malaysia’s UM Specialist Centre (UMSC) a quaternary hospital under Universiti Malaya, has announced the completion of its recent upgrades, increasing its capacity to 109 beds.

The upgrade includes the new Berlian Ward, which features 16 beds and an Oncology DayCare with 18 recliner chairs. It is expected to accommodate demand whilst the existing Delima Ward refurbishment progresses.

The hospital has also unveiled the UMSC Dental Specialist Centre to provide multidisciplinary care and dental treatment amongst local patients and health travellers.
