Malaysia to offer accessible healthcare for Bangladeshi patients

An MoU was signed to promote extensive and affordable care for the Bangladeshi community

The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) has partnered with Qualitas Healthcare Bangladesh to offer accessible healthcare services for Bangladeshi patients.

Through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), the partnership will ensure patients receive extensive and affordable care from Malaysia.

The MoU was signed by MHTC CEO Mohamed Ali Abu Bakar and Ramon Varughese, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Qualitas Health Malaysia and Country Head of Qualitas Health Bangladesh.

“This collaboration and engagement, together with leading tertiary centres in Malaysia, will further increase awareness of health screening, whilst providing healthcare support in pre- and post-hospitalisation, creating a seamless healthcare ecosystem for the people of Bangladesh to access Malaysian Healthcare,” Varughese said.
