India’s CARE Hospitals unveils liver transplant institute in Hyderabad
The institute is the group's sixth liver transplant centre in India.
CARE Hospitals has launched an institute for digestive diseases and liver transplantation in Hyderabad, India.
A report by GlobalData mentioned that the CARE Institute of Digestive Diseases and Liver Transplantation will focus on delivering comprehensive care for liver, gastrointestinal, and pancreatic diseases.
In addition, the institute will comprise a team of surgeons specialising in gastrointestinal surgeries, liver transplants and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery (HPB).

The institute was inaugurated by K Hari Prasad, chairman and non-executive director of Quality Care India, in the presence of Jasdeep Singh, Group CEO of CARE Hospitals group, among other key dignitaries.
Currently, the group operates 17 facilities across seven cities and six different states in India.
