India’s 5e Healthcare extends to online COVID-19 consultation services

Consultation is available for only $0.014 (INR1).

India-based digital healthcare startup 5e Healthcare has extended its "Covid Care" specific video consultation services in India, which are going to be a part of the existing 5eCare app available on the Google play store and Apple app store, according to a press release.

The app optimizes the use of medical resources and enables efficient Covid Care Delivery by the medical authorities for the treatment of COVID-19. The Covid care consultation services are available for $0.014 (INR1) only.

The video consultation app assists symptomatic and suspects to access expert consultation within 15 minutes of the booking, aiming to reduce the exposure of medical staff from coming in direct contact with suspected carriers.

The treatment will include the patients filling up the online intake form, after which the doctor will review it and check their well-being through HD video call. Afterwards, the doctor will generate a digital prescription delivered to the patient's phone instantly.

Currently, 5e Healthcare has more than 100 doctors in the platform providing online consultation at any given point in time.
