Hong Kong healthcare association of ageing unveils free lower cholesterol programme

Lipid tests were administered for free.

Aiming to encourage and educate Hong Kong citizens to detect any potential health risk factors, Hong Kong’s healthcare association of ageing (HKHAOA) offered free full cholesterol lipid tests for the territory’s citizens.

According to a press release by the HKHAOA, citizens will be advised to follow a 3-6 weeks lifestyle changing program for reducing high blood cholesterol that would focus on diet change, physical activity and weight management.

“From now until August 30 2016, interested parties in Hong Kong from 5-105 years old can go online to submit your application. Offer is limited and priorities would be reserved to those applicants having comparatively higher heart disease risk factors first,” the release said.

“Successful applicants will receive a confirmation letter with the specified date written and within a specified time, the successful applicants can go to 5 designated Quality HealthCare Medical Centre or the Hong Kong Healthcare Association of Ageing to do the free cholesterol lipid profile test,”
