HCA: What are your previous experiences and positions held that contributed to who you are today as a healthcare practitioner?

Involved in the health insurance business in Indonesia, providing services to one of our national major client and manage a hospital under Awal Bros Hospital Group. On the non-profit side I've been involved in public health programs together with International SOS-Newmont, improving neonatal and maternal health activities with Save The Children - USAID. On a short stint, development of addiction medicine module for addiction care working group financed by the European Union is one of most satisfying academic activities i had.

HCA: What are your key healthcare philosophies and ideologies?

Healthcare should be a service of quality with reasonable price (both from customer and provider side) so that private sector could involved actively. Policy maker should always drive an open and competitive environment. This will make the customer higher freedom to choose the service they paid for. In the end this will contribute to improve the over all quality.

HCA: Can you give us a glimpse of what you will talk about at the 2016 Healthcare Asia Forum?

We will discuss insight in dealing with government national health insurance on the implementation side, the payment, how the market has change, the people behaviour upon this health insurance scheme, demand of coordination of benefit with the commercial insurance.
