Health Sciences Authority names new CEO
Raymond Chua Swee Boon will succeed Mimi Choong May Ling in the role.
The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) has appointed Raymond Chua Swee Boon as CEO-Designate, before officially assuming the role on 13 December.
He will succeed Mimi Choong May Ling, who is set to retire from public service later this year.
Chua is currently the deputy director-general of Health (Health Regulation) at the Ministry of Health and will continue to hold this position alongside his role as CEO.
Before his appointment at the ministry, Chua was the group director of the Health Products Regulation Group at HSA. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
