Gleneagles Hospital HK introduces centre for clinical trials

The centre’s current trials involve novel drugs for treating colorectal and biliary tract cancers.

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong (Gleneagles), has launched its Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) for medical research and patient care.

The Gleneagles CTC facilitates clinical research and studies on key areas, such as treatments, procedures, drugs, vaccines, and medical devices, with an initial focus on oncology.

Current trials involve novel drugs for treating colorectal and biliary tract cancers, with plans for expansion into other specialities.

Meanwhile, a partnership with the LKS Faculty of Medicine of HKU (HKUMed) includes the implementation of the Hong Kong Clinical Trials Centre’s (HKU-CTC) digital cloud platform for trial management.
