Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong has adopted uniBOT, a fully automated robotic unit dose-cutting and repacking system for drug dispensing.

The new technology is designed to automatically cut and repackage various blister tablets, capsules, and ampoules into unit doses.

Moreover, the system has a proximity sensor to detect medications and process different sizes and arrangements for tablets and capsules.

According to the hospital, this adoption will enable accurate and efficient drug dispensing capabilities for improved patient safety.
