Fortis Memorial Research Institute launches pediatric tumor clinic

The clinic aims to treat children with a variety of solid tumors and cancers.

Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) in Gurugram, India has launched a first-of-its-kind Pediatric Solid Tumor Clinic in commemoration of the International Childhood Cancer Day on 15 February, the hospital announced in a social media post.

Located in the hospital’s Meditorium and running every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the new clinic aims to treat children with a variety of solid tumors or cancers, from brain and spinal cord tumors to tumors affecting bones and muscles and those arising from the liver and kidney.

FMRI is a multi-super-speciality, quaternary care hospital, running various specialty clinics including pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and oncology.
