Digital healthcare solutions needed by millennials struggling to maintain health

Majority of millennials in Hong Kong have a lack of time watching their health.

A Bupa survey showed that 70% of 500 Hong Kong millennials are having difficulty maintaining their health due to lack of time (53%) and too much stress (48%).

The research firm said healthcare providers can address this problem through offering digital and interactive approaches to healthcare services.

“Mental health is as important as physical health to this generation who view health as a holistic pursuit,” said Bupa.

This includes virtual doctor appointments, which may help millennials who want a personal and cross-platform approach.

“The future of healthcare is being defined by the needs of this generation and it's the right moment for more services and solutions to support them in overcoming their healthcare barriers,” it said.
