Davao Doctors Hospital unveils new tech for lung function assessments

The device is expected to provide precise measurements for diagnosing respiratory conditions.

Philippines’ Davao Doctors Hospital's pulmonary department has adopted the Vyntus™ BODY Plethysmograph, a medical device designed for lung function assessments.

The new tech is expected to provide precise measurements for diagnosing respiratory conditions, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pulmonary fibrosis.

According to the hospital, the device facilitates early detection and enables personalised care plans for effective treatment.

Furthermore, regular assessments will help doctors monitor changes in patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
