China-based Zhongchao to launch internet hospital

With this, the company now offers an all-in-one patient management service.

China-based healthcare firm Zhongchao has established a new subsidiary, Ningxia Zhongxin Internet Hospital, under its subsidiary, Shanghai Zhongxin Medical Technology, which will focus on inpatient management services, according to a press release.

Last May, Zhongchao launched its patient management service in the professional field of tumour and rare diseases, focusing on outpatient services. With Zhongxin Internet Hospital, Zhongchao now offers an all-in-one patient management service from diagnosis, treatment solutions, treatment engagement management, to living improvement.

The all-in-one service will support continuity in treatment. In addition, through sharing the data of inpatients and outpatients, the service promises a more efficient patient management service and potential business opportunities, such as medicine sales and patient recruiting.

"During the COVID-19 outbreak, the visitation volume of internet hospitals increased 17 times over the same period of the last year," Zhongchao’s Chairman and CEO Weiguang Yang said.
