Australia launches Western Cluster Clinical Trials Support unit in Dubbo

The CTSU works in key areas, such as oncology, cardiology, and critical care.

The Australian government has announced the launch of the Western Cluster Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU) in Dubbo, New South Wales (NSW).

The cluster supports units within the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD), Nepean Blue Mountains LHD, and Far West LHD through the Rural, Regional and Remote Clinical Trials programme.

The CTSU works with oncology, cardiology, critical care, and respiratory teams to establish new clinical trials.

It also partners with other facilities and services, such as pathology, pharmacy, and clinical trial sponsors to build on the region's existing trials.
