Australia launches new ambulance station in Kingscliff
The two-level facility replaces the 65-year-old station on Marine Parade.
The Australian government has announced the opening of the Kingscliff Ambulance Station co-located on the new Tweed Valley Hospital campus in New South Wales (NSW).
The two-level station replaces the 65-year-old facility on Marine Parade and features eight internal parking bays, administration and office areas, staff rest facilities, a gym, and logistics and storage areas.
Moreover, the station's launch is part of the government's $155.7m (A$232m) Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) programme, which will deliver 54 new or upgraded stations across NSW.
