Aster Whitefield Hospital launches neurosciences and spine care institute

It features mixed reality technology for 3D visualisation in treatment planning.

Aster Whitefield Hospital has inaugurated the Aster International Institute of Neurosciences and Spine Care in Bangalore, India.

The launch featured the Cascade IOMAX system for intraoperative neuro-monitoring and mixed reality technology for 3D visualisation in treatment planning. It also unveiled a hybrid biplane cath lab for stroke care.

Meanwhile, the hospital introduced the EPIC programme, offering free monthly epilepsy treatment to underserved communities, with support from Rotary International and Sukriya NGO.
