Asian Hospital inks MoU with Boehringer Ingelheim for rare disease management

The partnership is set to enhance patient care for interstitial lung disease.

The Asian Hospital and Medical Centre in the Philippines has announced its collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim for better support and management of rare diseases, such as interstitial lung disease (ILD).

Through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), both organisations will focus on developing patient support programmes, improving diagnostic services access, and facilitating ongoing medical education for healthcare professionals.

Furthermore, Boehringer is set to lead programme design and monitoring, whilst providing essential medicine and diagnostic support.

“By building stronger connections and fostering collaboration, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by ILD,” the hospital said.
