Asan Medical Center inks partnership with UChicago Medicine

The health institutions will hold joint training and cooperate on patient care.

Asan Medical Center has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Chicago Medicine (UChicago Medicine) for collaboration on education activities and patient care.

Under the partnership, both institutions will partake in personnel exchange, joint educational activities and training in shared areas of interest, and cooperative patient care and referrals.

“We anticipate that through collaboration with UChicago Medicine, we will be able to enhance our global recognition within the United States,” Professor In-Ho Jeon, director of Asan Medical International, said.

Founded in 1927, UChicago Medicine operates with an annual record of over 240,000 outpatient visits, more than 34,000 inpatient admissions, over 24,000 surgical procedures and a total of 811 hospital beds.
