Alpha IVF Q4 earnings to record sequential growth: report

This follows a Q3 seasonal low amidst Chinese New Year festivities.

Malaysia’s Alpha IVF is projected to witness sequential earnings growth in the fourth quarter (Q4 2024), according to a UOB Kay Hian (UOBKH) report.

This follows a seasonal low during the third quarter (Q3 2023) with fewer patients during Chinese New Year and the gradual ramp-up in foreign medical patients which were considered as margin accretive.

Meanwhile, the group’s new Alhaya facility is not expected to significantly impact Q4’s financials due to its recent launch last April.

“Given this backdrop, earnings should largely meet our estimates, and imply a growth of 26% for FY24,” UOBKH said.
