Alfred Health appoints Adam Horsburgh as new chief executive

He will succeed Andrew Way in the role.

Australia’s Alfred Health has appointed Adam Horsburgh as the new chief executive, effective 1 August.

Horsburgh, who is currently chief executive at Austin Health, will succeed Andrew Way after 15 years of service.

Before his appointment, Horsburgh served as the deputy CEO and COO at Melbourne Health and spent time as the COO for Southern Health, now Monash Health, at Monash Medical Centre.

Moreover, he has held senior policy and advisory roles with the Victorian Government.

“I am very excited about this opportunity to work alongside such talented staff across Alfred Health and to further enhance the reputation for leading the provision of acute and complex healthcare in this state,” Horsburgh said.
