Ajou University Hospital named as pediatric emergency medical institution for Gyeonggi-do

The initiative aims to assist hospitals in treating severe pediatric emergency patients.

Ajou University Hospital has been selected as a “responsible pediatric emergency medical institution” in the southwestern region of Gyeonggi-do.

The “responsible pediatric emergency medical institution” initiative is a development project that supports medical institutions that accommodate pediatric emergency patients 24 hours a day to improve the treatment of severe pediatric emergency patients in the region.

To be eligible for the initiative, hospitals are required to submit their entries. Ajou University entered the contest last January and eventually became the “responsible pediatric emergency medical institution” of Gyeonggi-do.
