ACL graft market projected to grow at 7.2% CAGR through 2029

By end users, the hospitals and ambulatory surgery centres segment accounted for the largest market share in 2023.

The ACL graft market is expected to grow from $120m to $180m by 2029 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.2%, according to MarketsandMarkets.

The sector’s expansion is driven by an ageing population more susceptible to orthopaedic issues, rising healthcare expenditures, and the expansion of facilities worldwide.

“The demand for ACL grafts is expected to expand as the number of ACL reconstruction failures increases and there is a greater need for better surgical procedures and viable graft choices,” the report said.

By end users, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centres (ASCs) accounted for the largest market share in 2023 due to an increase in related injuries.

“Hospitals and ASCs are focusing more on providing patients with better surgical therapies, which is attracting more patients towards these facilities,” it added.
