$348m Thomas Embling Hospital redevelopment completes structural works

The project is expected to be completed in 2025.

Progress for the $348m (A$515.7m) Thomas Embling Hospital redevelopment in Fairfield, Australia is underway with major structural works now complete.

The redevelopment will provide new clinical administration facilities, an entry complex, and increased parking.

It will also add 82 secure mental health beds, including a 34-bed women’s precinct and a 48-bed medium-security men’s facility.

The project is expected to be completed in 2025 and is being delivered by the Victorian Health Building Authority, in partnership with Forensicare, John Holland, and Guymer Bailey Architects.
