UPS receives IATA CEIV Pharma Certification

This is said to validate its capabilities in the safe and efficient transport of pharma products.

Supply chain solutions UPS has announced that its freight forwarding operation at Changi Airport receives IATA CEIV Pharma Certification for pharmaceutical logistics.

The CEIV pharma certification is developed by trade association International Air Transport Association (IATA), regulators and aviation industry stakeholders that requires companies to meet or exceed many existing pharmaceutical standards and guidelines.

UPS said that this further validates its capabilities in the safe and efficient transportation of high-value pharmaceutical products.

This move is part of the firm’s structured global transformation, where they aim to leverage its data, analytics and innovative technology.
