North Korea attempts to hack South Korean pharma

North Korea is looking to get information on the company’s COVID-19 vaccine and treatment.

North Korea has attempted to hack the servers of a South Korean drug manufacturer to obtain technology information on the company's coronavirus vaccine and treatment, Yonhap reported based on the state intelligence agency statement to lawmakers.

They said the National Intelligence Service unveiled the information during a closed-door session of the National Assembly's intelligence committee.

According to a GlobalData report, contract manufacturing organizations in South Korea have made agreements for prominent COVID-19 vaccines and therapies. There are more than 1,000 vaccines and therapies in development for the virus.
