National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita acquired 2 accolades at The Healthcare Asia Awards

As The National Cardiovascular Referral Center in Indonesia, NCCHK has been acknowledged by Asia's Healthcare Industry.

National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita (NCCHK) is a tertiary hospital in Jakarta, specialized in the treatment and management of cardiovascular diseases. NCCHK is supported with experienced medical specialists, cardiovascular subspecialists, along with other trained cardiovascular healthcare providers.

NCCHK has become the National Referral Center for cardiovascular diseases in Indonesia, in terms of treatments and center of excellence. Patients from all over the country have been referred to the hospital to receive further treatments and cardiovascular interventions, all for the purpose of achieving comprehensive cardiovascular needs. Aside from major therapies, NCCHK also provides essential ancillary services which includes education, training and multidisciplinary research focused on cardiovascular healthcare.

NCCHK persistently refines its facilities and services to achieve better qualities of a national referral center. Currently, NCCHK is establishing a Private and Pediatric Cardiology Wing Building in order to accelerate patient's waiting time. Meetings and supervised trainings were also conducted with other hospitals to enhance medical team performances in cardiovascular services, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.

The Private and Pediatric Cardiology Wing Building was launched by the 19th Health Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Lieutenant General Terawan Agus Putranto, MD. on 9 November 2019. The construction is expected to be accomplishedonMarch 2022 and will begin to operate in the first half of 2022. 

Moreover, NCCHK also has some of the best, innovative medical devices in the world to cope with the Industry 4.0 era and digital transformation. The hospital aims to improve their medical devices technology, making it more efficient in providing both therapy and diagnostic needs which are specific for each patient. NCCHK also aims to fully equip the hospital with the infrastructure and medical devices to allow easier access and cater to the increasing needs of the community. 

In reference to those qualities, performances, and improvements, NCCHK was rewarded with Tertiary Hospital of the Year - Indonesia trophy at the recently concluded Healthcare Asia Awards 2021. Furthermore, NCCHK also received another prestigious award: Facilities Improvement Initiative of the Year - Indonesia award. The hospital was reported to be successful in improving bed occupancy rate, shortening both non-invasive and surgery waiting lists, especially on cardiovascular pediatric and congenital heart disease cases.
